Sussex indie pop trio Wild Horse had a great start to 2022 with “COUGAR” which was received with universal acclaim by the critics, now they are about to return with a killer single “ANGLES” in time for their first UK Tour.
“ANGLES” ruminates on the eternal problem of daring to make the first move in revealing one’s feelings.
It’s a tour de force from a fast-rising band full of confidence and flair. Yet, when it comes to love… everyone’s confused about the angles.
Wild Horse are an indie trio whose funked up guitar pop flows with the exuberant energy of kids who grew up listening to hip hop beats and classic 60s/70s Brit Rock vinyls. Wild Horse sound like what putting on a new suit and lighting a cigarette to go on a night out feels like.
Formed by brothers Jack and Henry Baldwin and best mate from primary school Ed Barnes in Sussex, Southern England, they have been relentlessly gigging since their teens. Still only just into their 20s, the guys have recorded many great tracks earning enthusiastic support in BBC Intros, BBC local shows, RadioX, Caroline, Amazing and many other local FM & internet stations around the world. Their work has received fantastic reviews from many worldwide publications, broadcasters, reviewers & mainstream press for both their recorded work & live shows.
Already 2023 bodes well as Wild Horse embark on their first national tour in March and were one of the first acts to be announced to play the 2023 Great Escape Festival in Brighton. Wild Horse’s tour sees them play at The Blues Kitchen – Manchester, The Brudenell Social Club – Leeds, The O2 Academy – Birmingham, Komedia – Brighton, The Old Fire Station – Bournemouth, O2 Academy – Oxford, The Boiler Room – Guildford, Thekla – Bristol & The O2 Academy – Islington all between March 30th & April 29th.
