Two-Time Country Music Awards Entertainer of the Year Luke Combs Reveals Career Insights on the Latest Episode of God’s Country

Country superstar Luke Combs provided an exclusive glimpse into his voyage within the music industry on the newest edition of God’s Country.

 

God’s Country is a new weekly series co-produced by iHeartPodcasts and MeatEater, Inc. and hosted by country music songwriters Dan and Reid Isbell.  The show focuses on the intersection of outdoor living and country music.  Each episode involves interviewing prominent musicians and songwriters as they discuss their love of hunting and fishing alongside their significant milestones within the industry.


Among the topics discussed in the recent installment is Combs’ first job at Asheville Fun-Depot, him learning guitar at the age of twenty-one, meeting his idol Tracy Chapman, and performing “Fast Car” with Chapman at the GRAMMYs.  As a bonus, Combs’ joins the Isbell Brothers to perform a Vince Gill classic.
