Nashville artists join Welsh singer songwriters at a songwriter’s event “The Hidden Lyrics” coming to Tiny Rebel, Cardiff on Thursday November 23rd

Presented by Scarlet River PR and Follow Your Arrow UK‘The Hidden Lyrics’ delves into the attention-to-detail, passion and artistic talent that goes into creating a song. Each of the featured songwriters will strip back their songs to the bare bones, sharing with the audience the story behind them and their songwriter process, before performing them acoustically. Each artist will perform three songs each at the in-the-round style event.

 

This November, in association with the South Wales Country Music Festival, USA artists will join Welsh singer songwriters for a fantastic night of music at Tiny Rebel, Cardiff. The first line up announcement includes Nashville based Kyle Elliot, Omer Netzer and Welsh artist Rebecca Richards with more artists to be revealed soon.   

 
About the artists

 

Kyle Elliot is a singer-songwriter from Nashville, TN, who prides himself on authenticity and lyrical honesty. Kyle’s single “Sunrise” was featured as a top song for Apple Music’s Hot Country Playlist. He has released 10 singles since 2016 and including latest singles “I Hate Goodbye” and “I Do”.  In addition to his success Elliott has earned 400,000 streams across all streaming platforms. Kyle continues touring countless  dates building his fanbase even on an international stage including the UK. 

 

Omer Netzer A small-town Israeli farm boy turned international musician. Netzer sings songs of turmoil, heartbreak, and how hard work can help one find peace. Netzer’s music straddles the intersection of Americana, Blues, Rock, and Country. Influenced by artists such as Merle Haggard, John Lennon, Chris Stapleton, and Zakk Brown. Netzer perceives the Israeli North as akin to the American South; where people embody friendliness, take time to connect, and

 

Rebecca Richards is a classically trained pianist and singer songwriter from Pontypool in South Wales. Rebecca’s songs have been described as uplifting and empowering whilst maintaining a bittersweet edge. Her love of music is heavily steeped in country, blues and rock and major influences include The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac and Glen Campbell. Rebecca has performed across the UK including The Camden Club, London and South Wales Country Music Festival, Newport. She has been shortlisted for the 2023 UK Country Music Radio Song Award and she will be playing live at the finale in Donington on 28th October. Her latest single “New Yesterdays” is out on 20th October.
