Tenderhooks the 3-piece trio from Brighton, UK enjoy making their eclectic mix of music. Uplifting, heartfelt and always well executed and produced. Their music is gaining popularity across the world. Ever more indie radio stations across the world are giving the band much appreciated airtime.
Queen Of Hearts. The music and lyrics for the country rock tune were created by Markus Leinweber, the lead singer of Tenderhooks. He says, ‘It’s a story of a losing gambler whose luck is turned by a chance encounter with a mysterious lady in a casino. The story has a twist and turns and draws the listener in from beginning to end.’
About The Band
Tenderhooks are pleased to say that they are close to completing their 9th album. They expect to release the album by mid-2023.
Markus Leinweber, singer song writer and pianist, Mike Philips, bass and Andy Cooke, drums enjoy playing live whether in pubs or on the big festival stages. They are hoping 2023 will be a big year.
Their ambition is to go on tour in the UK and hopefully further afield.
In the meantime, they are busy recording new songs, working together with Mike Wilton who produces and plays guitars on the recordings and Jake Rousham who engineers and provides his very own Tan Rallt Studio in Lewis to record in.
They have so far self-published 101 songs on streaming platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music. They also have a great number of entertaining music videos on YouTube under the Tenderhooksband handle.
