NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Acclaimed southern rock band Stone Senate releases their limited edition vinyl packages, Between the Dark and the Light, available now at StoneSenate.com. The 13-song album comes from a top-tier band infusing rock vocals with country and soulful influences to create a sound of their own. The release of this album is the greater vision of the first EP series, called Dusk, which was released in October 2021, and the second EP, Dawn, released in October 2022. The two have formed a collaborative listening experience as the band takes a reflective approach to foreseeing both the dark and the light.
Each vinyl was pressed at the boutique pressing plant in the heart of Music City, known as The Vinyl Lab. The vinyl album purchase for the first 50 people includes two handwritten lyric sheets autographed by the entire band, three guitar picks with the album name printed on them, a CD of the full album, and a Stone Senate sticker.
With a wide range of amplifying musicianship, sound, and emotion, each song takes listeners on a journey of pushing rock boundaries through country-infused artistry. Between the Dark and the Light keeps the spirit of rock alive for a new era as the band continues to explore the various American music styles, including country and southern roots rock. The band teamed up with renowned American record producer Toby Wright (Metallica, Kiss, Alice in Chains) for the full-length album.
Comprised of Clint, James, Ted, David, and Kieran, the band members say, “We are beyond excited to have this full album, Between the Dark and the Light, released! It is the complete Dusk and Dawn EP along with a beautiful acoustic guitar instrumental song titled “Buddy’s Song” and an eerie love story told in the song “Ghost.” All 13 songs were recorded, produced, and mixed by our pal Toby Wright. The entire band was a part of the writing process and the making of this album, and it pulled dark and bright emotions out of all of us.”
This project follows their previous albums, 1 (2014) and Star City (2016). Stone Senate’s catalog continues to expand, having been called “a heavier version of Lynyrd Skynyrd, crossed with The Allman Brothers Band.” As a growing force in the southern rock scene, the five-piece band continues to deliver music that evokes emotion.
The band adds, “We can’t thank our amazing team we have behind us enough for making the circle complete. Starting with the Dusk EP, the Dawn EP, and all the singles in between! The Erv Woolsey Company, Dead Horse Branding, The Lozen Group, Symphonic Distribution, and KSKM have all been part of making this album possible for us, and we say a huge thank you! We hope you all get as much enjoyment listening to Between the Dark and the Light as we did making it and as we do playing it live! We will see you out on the road at the next southern soul rock ‘n’ roll show!”
Stone Senate recently signed an exclusive booking representation with Michael Alan and MRL Music Group for live performances and concert appearances throughout the United States. Continuing to embark on an impressive run of success, Stone Senate is kicking off their US tour from May to October of this year. Having been together since 2012, the band has played over 600 shows across the US and looks to expand touring globally. Stay tuned for European tour dates!

About Stone Senate
Stone Senate has been called “a heavier version of Lynyrd Skynyrd, crossed with The Allman Brothers Band.” While being mentioned in such a heady company is flattering, it is important to note the Stone Senate is most definitely not a retro act. They are taking what came naturally from their collective influences a step further and making a name for themselves in the world of modern country rock. With over 600 shows in the US over the last few years, their touring prowess has garnered them a solid fan base of country rock n roll lovers.
Stone Senate has toured with Bulletboys, Uli Jon Roth, Davisson Brothers Band, and Tantric, and direct support for bands such as Styx, Collective Soul, Jackyl, Cowboy Mouth, Saliva, Little Texas, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Quiet Riot, Asleep at the Wheel, Lit, Alien Ant Farm, Tom Kiefer Band, Billy Gibbons and the BFG’s, Tim Montana, Uncle Kracker, Rehab, David Alan Coe, Whitford – St Holmes, David Lee Murphy, Davisson Brothers Band, Andy Ross, Mike Zito, John Micheal Montgomery, Eddie Montgomery, and Confederate Railroad, to name a few. The band is fronted by vocalist/ guitarist Clint Woolsey’s smoldering, soulful vocals and unmistakable stage presence. Meanwhile stage left and stage right are burning down with dual lead guitars/vocals of James Beau Edwards and Brother Ted Hennington. Add to that the bonded rhythm section of Kieran Cronley on bass and David “DZ” Zettler on drums/vocals, and you have caught lightning in a bottle.
