Spitfire Country Artist Jordan Rainer Releases Official Video for Top 20 Hit “Damn Sandwich”

Damn Sandwich Music Video Highlights Her Wit, Character and Trademark Smirk

NASHVILLE, TENN. — Dubbed as country music’s woman in black, this fire spittin’ guitar slingin’ breakout country artist Jordan Rainer just released a brand-new music video for her latest Top 20 hit, Damn Sandwich (Click HERE to watch). The song is also available on all digital streaming platforms, including SpotifyApple Music, and more.

Notorious for shooting from the hip and telling it like it is, Jordan Rainer’s approach to performance and storytelling is one that sets her apart and Damn Sandwich is the perfect example of that. Directed by Nashville videographer, Alejandro Medina III (who also directed her debut video Black Water Rise), this fun and quirky video takes place in a day in the life of a couple just having a rough day. The woman wakes up “in a mood” and the poor guy is just trying to survive the storm. The on-screen couple played by good friend and fellow recording artist Kyle Elliot and Nashville actress Sedona Feretto had instant comedic chemistry making them a relatable couple for her fans.

Written by Bobby Tomberlin, Matt Wynn, and the legendary Whisperin’ Bill Anderson, Damn Sandwich is the first single that Jordan herself was not a writer on. “This started out simply as a demo I was hired to record. I was honored to do a demo for anything Whisperin’ Bill was a part of, as he’s a hero of mine,” shares Jordan. “I locked myself in the studio for four days, playing every instrument myself – guitar, drums, bass, piano, etc – and spent time getting everything just right. But after doing the demo, I loved the song so much I just had to ask their permission to record and release it myself.”

Releasing this song was clearly the right call since it is currently in the Top 20 on the Texas Regional Radio Report Chart and climbing. With a line dance already created for this song, Jordan is making a name for herself among some of the biggest names in country music while performing predominantly in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and all across the southeast, while also visiting the stations in support of the song. “The response has been absolutely astounding. Radio all across Texas is spinning it like crazy, fans are calling and writing in to request it, and I couldn’t be happier to see all the love it’s getting.”

Don’t be fooled by the look, Jordan has real country chops. A little bit of Loretta, a little bit of Waylon and some smokin’ guitar work. And she delivers the ‘Damn Sandwich’ with the sass it takes to pull off a song like that. 2 Thumbs up! – Buzz Russell, PD, KNES-FM, Fairfield TX

JORDAN. Jams the hell out of the guitar. One hell of an entertainer & songwriter. Rocking country with her own style. Dedicated to her passion and it shows. Ain’t nobody else like her. Nation wide ability” – Greg Austin, KLGD-FM, Abilene TX

About Jordan Rainer: Born in Atoka, OK and raised in Whitewright, TX, touring singer-songwriter and recording artist Jordan Rainer is catching fire with audiences of all ages, backgrounds and musical tastes. With her witty lyrics, masterful guitar playing and unique voice, she has been embraced as a peer by respected artists and songwriters such as Dean Dillon (George Strait-The Chair, Marina Del Rey), and even wrote the title track Stained Glass and Neon with Dean Dillon for The Voice winner Sundance Head’s debut album.

Any artist that plays rowdy bar gigs knows it will not be their most captive audience. Jordan, however, pulls her audiences in and has a knack for turning loud bars into a private showcase. Much like her music, her performance is an art form of its own. She wins crowds over with the energy and spunk she exudes while playing. She turns strangers into fans, and fans into an extension of her family, building an intimately connected and established base that will show up wherever she plays.

With numerous singles under her belt and in addition to her own performing and songwriting, Jordan is an accomplished producer and is currently producing records on rising country acts Texas artist Shayne Porter, Nashville artist Cameron Lenz, and Louisiana-born artist Will Dinnat. With her intricate lyrics, masterful guitar playing and commanding voice, she is showcasing an artistic vision that will prove her to be one of country music’s keenest working storytellers, bringing honesty and raw intimate talent back into this genre.
