Julia Larkin is set to begin the new year with the release of her debut single “Toy” which comes out January 20th, 2023. This empowering, upbeat song is available for pre-save everywhere.

Co-written with Willow Zhu and produced by Jason Bobo, “Toy” tells a story we all know too well. When you catch your significant other being shady, it’s time to call them out. With an edgy, emotional performance, this uplifting anthem is for anyone who’s been toyed with or treated as disposable in a relationship.

Julia discusses her inspiration and hopes for the song –  “After reflecting on past relationships and seeing this happen to so many of my friends, I knew I needed to write a song about it. I want the song to motivate people to have the courage to call out their significant other if they aren’t treating them right.”

Originally from New York, Julia Larkin relocated to Nashville, TN last year to pursue her music career as an Artist and songwriter. Since then, she has taken every opportunity to perform and hone in on her craft. During her first year in Nashville, she has already played notable venues like The Local and a sold out show at The Listening Room Cafe.
