Ride For Redemption to award final five berths to the World Finals – Championship on May 18-19 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas
FORT WORTH, Texas – Ahead of the second stage for the 2024 PBR (Professional Bull Riders) World Finals: Unleash The Beast, the organization today announced the 15 new competitors who will join the field for Ride For Redemption on May 15-16 at Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. During Ride For Redemption, the 40 competing athletes will vie for the final five berths to the World Finals – Championship on May 18-19 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, when the 2024 World Champion will be crowned.
The 15 positions were filled by 10 invites from PBR Teams, three invites from the PBR Stockyards Showcase, and two special invites extended to the 2023 PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) world champion bull rider and 2024 Rodeo Corpus Christi bull riding event champion.
The following riders earned berths to Ride For Redemption via their teams competing in the PBR Camping World Team Series:
The Kansas City Outlaws, Nashville Stampede and New York Mavericks did not have any roster members who had not already qualified for the 2024 PBR World Finals and/or available to compete at Ride For Redemption. Those three positions, filled by the Unleash The Beast standings, were: Rafale dos Santos (Quitman, Georgia), Marco Eguchi (Poa, Brazil) and Michael Lane (Tazewell, Virginia).
Compliments of their performances as the weekly PBR Stockyards Showcase inside Cowtown Coliseum, Lucas Fideles Souza (Barnstable, Massachusetts), Leandro Zampollo (Pirassununga, Brazil) and Joao Henrique Lucas (Bastos, Brazil) will compete at Ride For Redemption.
Both riders eligible for the special invites, Ky Hamilton (Mackay, Queensland, Australia) and Clayton Sellars (Fruitland Park, Florida) are unable to compete and those two positions were filled by the top-ranked riders in the Unleash The Beast standings who had not already qualified for the 2024 PBR World Finals Unleash The Beast. Those riders are Shane Scott (Molalla, Oregon) and Jose de Castro (Sao Jorge do Patrocinio, Brazil).
The remaining competitors are the 25 riders who did not advance via the 2024 PBR World Finals – Eliminations, held May 9-12 at Cowtown Coliseum:

Ride for Redemption will begin at 7:45 p.m. CDT on both Wednesday, May 15 and Thursday, May 16.
During Ride For Redemption, all 40 riders will attempt one bull each night, and those contenders with the Top 5 scores in the aggregate will earn the final berths to the PBR World Finals – Championship in Arlington. No Unleash The Beast points will be awarded.
