Latest Song Encapsulates the Moment that a Powerful Truth is Revealed
Ethereal pop-rock duo Lavendine, comprised of sisters Jacy and Jana Ayers, is proud to announce the release of their highly anticipated new single “Waterless Cloud”. Their latest release is a departure from their previous efforts as it embraces a pronounced kinetic energy with a sense of freedom in the form of a poignant, mid-tempo melody. “Waterless Cloud” boldly explores the perspective of detaching yourself from a narcissistic love interest. Unafraid from shying away from the truth, the lyrics portray the moment that a deception is detected, and the truth unfolds. “Waterless Cloud” is released today and available on all major streaming platforms.
Lavendine believes in the timeless appeal of music and creates songs that are relatable to all age groups. “Waterless Cloud” connects with anyone who feels the need to separate themselves from their current situation. Their perspective is upbeat and encouraging as they understand the presence of obstacles and the power that an individual possesses to overcome them. Lavendine balances a unique musical style with a modern style that is a perfect addition to any playlist.
“Waterless Cloud” is included on their upcoming EP Deep Blue, set for release on October 31st. Deep Blue is the duo’s most personal work to date. The EP is inspired by the Biblical Story of Jonah and represents moving on from hardship. The EP also includes their lead single “City Lights” and “Diamonds in the Sky”.
The upcoming release was recorded at Los Angeles’ East West Studios and mixed at Nashville’s Lala Mansion and features an impressive creative team. Deep Blue was produced and mixed by Mark Needham (The Killers, Imagine Dragons, Stevie Nicks) and co-produced by Brian Pruitt and Ed Seay (Martina McBride, Faith Hill, Blake Shelton) and showcases elite session musicians Matt Chamberlain (Pearl Jam, David Bowie), David Levita (Tim McGraw, Alanis Morissette), and Jamie Muhoberac (Madonna, Seal).
Lavendine has enjoyed numerous features in prestigious outlets including American Songwriter, FAME Magazine, and Hollywood Digest. The duo has also enjoyed chart success as their singles “Rapture” and “Open Up a Window” placed within the Top 25 on the Mediabase and Billboard AC charts. Additionally, their 2022 single “Finding My Way” hit #2 on the Mediabase AC Independent Rankings.
Radio stations have similarly embraced Lavendine. They have earned high rotation of Dash Radio which included a Top 10 spot on Dash Hits and a continuous six times per day commitment to playing their music. “Finding My Way Home” received a streaming surge on Pandora and a feature on the Jim Brickman National Radio Show.
When not recording music, the Ayers’ sisters enjoy staying active, especially through playing basketball. Both sisters are mothers and balance a busy musical career with family life. Jacy is passionate about interior design and engages within the creative aspects of the profession. Jana is a licensed esthetician who surrounds herself with self-care routines and taking time out to feel her best.
The duo looks forward to having another milestone year in 2025. They can be found online at their website www.lavendineband.com, Instagram @lavendinemusic, YouTube @LavendineBand, Facebook @Lavendineband, Spotify @Lavendine, and TikTok @lavendineofficial.
