NASHVILLE, TENN. – Nashville based singer/songwriter Noelle Toland is creating a unique alchemical sound by reviving that classic 90s country tone and embellishing it with her seductive soul flavor in her debut EP, The Moon Will Pass By. This EP is available on all digital streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, and more.
Consisting of four songs, which includes her latest three singles and a cover of Patsy Cline’s classic, A Poor Man’s Roses, the EP is full of heartbreak, hope, and encouragement. Kicking off the EP is her song, I Want to See You Again, featuring Grammy award-winner and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Steve Cropper. Starting off with an acoustic feel of a 90s country ballad sound and Noelle’s powerful vocals, there is a strong build two minutes in to the song that leads into a mellow guitar solo. The second tune, Sun Will Rise, ties in the EP name with the lyrics “the moon will pass by and the sun will rise.” This ballad features Noelle’s modern falsetto vocals, which creates a hopeful, powerful song that inspires the listener. The EP changes direction with LIMBO, an upbeat song that showcases her dynamic style and talks about being in a state of limbo, laying the cards out on the table and making the listener feel powerful. The EP concludes with A Poor Man’s Roses, a traditional Patsy Cline cover which blends the rawness with her strong vocals and leaves the listener feeling empowered and inspired.
The Moon Will Pass By was produced by Chris Condon (Billy Ray Cyrus’ musical director and guitarist) and recorded in the historic RCA Studio C in Nashville. “These songs are incredibly important to me,” says Noelle. “Collectively they tell a dynamic story of falling in love, taking chances and standing up for yourself. When I was writing for this EP and deciding which songs to cut, I knew that these were meant to go together. This is a love letter to my listeners in a way, one that encourages them to use their power, to keep their head up whilst weathering hard times, and to just keep going.”
With a few singles under her belt, Noelle has received critically-acclaimed praise in numerous publications, been nominated for Country Evolution’s Artist to Watch in 2023, received national and international airplay in Australia, Europe, Ireland, London, Switzerland, and the U.K. She is also scheduled to perform during CMA Music Festival on June 8th and will be signing autographs inside Fan Fair X hall on June 11th. About Noelle Toland: This passionately captivating country artist modernizes and personalizes old-school country music into her own sound and niche. While many assume the genre’s audience is limited exclusively to the south, Noelle Toland, who hails from a 2,000-person vineyard town in North Plains, Oregon is proof that that simply isn’t true. As an only child, Noelle used to perform around the house for her Wheaton Terrier, Max, just dancing around and being silly. But upon joining kindergarten choir at the budding age of five, she already knew exactly where she was meant to be. She is an accomplished actress with roles in several films, movies and TV shows including a stint in Criminal Minds. She has surmounted over 86K streams on Spotify and her music video for Sun Will Rise received critically-acclaimed praise and was immediately added to The Country Network.
