On Monday, December 11, 2023, on-the-rise British country music artist Mikala Fredriksson released the fantastic ‘Ends In Your Tears’, her incredible debut single and the first track to be lifted off of her forthcoming inaugural EP, which will drop in early 2024.

Having been performing across the world for over 15 years the Blackpool native is an accomplished artist and performer and is a breath of fresh air to the country music genre. She is showcasing a natural ability for creating standout stories that embody the style of music and its history.  

Speaking about her career so far, and the inroads she’s making into country, Mikala Fredriksson says: “To share my own stories by writing songs has always been my dream, i didn’t wanna give up on my music career until I had my own songs out there. To let people in, to really get to know me and share my ups and downs, is scary yet therapeutic and also so much fun! I would love for people to enjoy my music and live and breathe country music especially, as much as I do.”

And she is definitely making her mark on the genre with the standout ‘Ends In Your Tears’ which is a truly brilliant country record that showcases Mikala’s effortless vocal control and stellar songwriting capabilities. The future is bright for this northerner.
