Megan Nadin Releases New Single “In Another Life”

An Honest Anthem for a Great Love Broken by Bad Timing

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Canadian singer-songwriter Megan Nadin is set to release her highly anticipated new single, “In Another Life,” on March 14th, 2025. The track is a metaphor-laden ballad that reflects on the journey of finding a love that seems destined to heal past heartbreak, only to realize it’s the “right” love at the “wrong” time. “In Another Life” marks the first release of 2025 for Nadin, who continues to captivate listeners with her emotionally vulnerable and deeply relatable songwriting.

If you stayed for just a little while
I know that I could clear your head of doubt
But if life has taught me anything
I’m not the one to fix the things
You need to take the time to figure out
And it burns me to the third degree
Just knowing that our times not now

The track resonates with today’s cultural conversations around relationships, mental health, and the need for personal growth, especially in a time when young people are seeking deeper emotional connections. “In Another Life” offers listeners an invitation to embrace vulnerability, reflect on their own experiences, and find solace in the idea that love, even if not forever, can still hold value. “Although the relationship didn’t last long term,” says Nadin, “…it created a space that allowed me to heal, grow and learn a lot about myself.”

Megan Nadin, hailing from Thunder Bay, ON, has always had a voice that is truly identifiable. For nearly two decades, she kept her passion for singing and songwriting to herself, but that changed when she moved to Siem Reap, Cambodia. There, while teaching children, Megan began sharing her music and quickly discovered that her songs became a cherished part of the children’s day. Encouraged by her family and friends back in Canada, Megan continued to share her music, eventually leading to her debut single Gypsy Sea in 2018, which garnered attention from CBC Searchlight and landed her a spot in their Top 100.

In 2020, Nadin signed a writing contract with 7-time Grammy-winning producer Keith Thomas, which brought her to Nashville. Her debut EP, This Was Then, followed soon after. After a brief three-year hiatus, during which Megan completed a Songwriting and Composition Program at Dark Horse Music Institute, she returned to music in 2024 with the releases of MAKE IT OUT ALIVE and HIGH, both of which earned her spots on ABC’s Local On 2 and NBC’s Today In Nashville.

Now, moving into 2025, Megan is poised to share “In Another Life,” the first of many new songs to come. With this new single, she continues to explore themes of vulnerability, self-growth, and the complexities of love. Megan’s music blends her personal journey with universal experiences, offering listeners the opportunity to connect with her story and reflect on their own. “My favourite part about creating music is being able to bring a moment in time back to life, and sometimes with a whole new perspective,” says Nadin. “I love being able to use songwriting as a way to reflect and make sense of what I’m feeling or going through; a way to articulate the things I don’t always know how to. The fact that it allows me the ability to take not so pretty moments or feelings and turn it into something beautiful feels like the ultimate gift. Writing this song helped me do just that.”

In addition to her music, Nadin is passionate about advocacy and activism, seeking to use her platform to create change and give a voice to those who have inspired her, like the children she worked with in Cambodia.
