Country Artist Mark Taylor Reveals Special Hometown Show at The Recher

NASHVILLE, TENN. – New country artist Mark Taylor will fulfill a childhood dream this September as he heads home for his first hometown headlining show at one of Baltimore’s most popular live music venues, The Recher.

 

Voted “Best Live Music Venue” at the Maryland Music Awards, Mark and his band will take the stage at The Recher and perform a one night only special full band show on Friday, September 6, 2024. Artists that have previously graced this stage include Brandi Carlile, Bryan Adams, Dierks Bentley, Linkin Park, The Avett Brothers, The White Stripes, Vince Gill, and more. 

 

“I’m excited to cross off a bucket list item of mine since I was 12 years old,” says Mark. “I’ve always wanted to play here. I’ve seen so many artists come through town and play on this stage and I can’t believe I now get to step on that stage and celebrate this milestone moment with my family, friends and fans.

Mark Taylor is taking country music by storm with numerous chart-topping singles and a brand-new EP Acoustic Sessions EP, being released Friday, June 28, 2024. One of his first releases, I’m Down, hit #11 on a fan-voted country chart. Since then, he has achieved over a quarter of a million streams just on Spotify and his music is being played internationally and on terrestrial AM/FM rotation in the Northeast and Southeast. Dust Off That Dirt made its line dance debut last year in Germany and the music video made its premiere on The Country Network, broadcasting to over 40 million households and since then has released a few additional videos. His international hit Remember The Party climbed the iTunes country chart in the U.K. and quickly became one of the most popular line dance songs in England. Choreographers created line dances complete with dance instructions and can easily be found on YouTube. 

 

Mark has been featured in numerous print and TV placements including The Tennessean, Nashville-TV Fox and NBC affiliates. As a songwriter, he has written songs by Amii Stewart (singer of the 1979 #1 hit Knock on Wood), Whey Jennings (Grandson of Waylon), and more. His most recent cut Just Before The Dawn, recorded by Whey Jennings, peaked in the Top 40 on iTunes Country Chart and Top 10 in Norway. It was also featured in the award-winning film “American Outlaws,” available in select theaters and streaming services.
