Video Premiering Worldwide On Jim Brown’s YouTube Channel
Single Available On All Digital & Streaming Platforms
(Nashville, Tenn. – March 15, 2024) – Nashville native and country music recording artist Jim Brown just premiered his official new music video, “Kristofferson,” worldwide on his YouTube channel. The video, all filmed in Middle Tennessee, stays true to the storyline. It includes a bar scene and performance shots that were filmed at Third And Lindsley in Nashville, and the other scenes were filmed at Brown’s real-life home in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee. “Kristofferson” was directed and produced by Randy Shaffer, Vibe Entertainment Group, and co-produced by Brown.
Brown released his compelling new single, “Kristofferson” on January 30th. The track, which features his rich soulful sound and signature harmonies, continues to create a buzz. The song was written by Nashville tunesmiths Anthony Smith and Reed Nelson. It was co-produced by Brown and Darren Smith, engineered by Pat Holt, and mastered by Benny Quinn. “Kristofferson” is now available on all digital and streaming platforms.
“Kristofferson” is traditional country music at its finest. It is simple yet powerful about a relationship gone wrong – something everyone can relate to – and the video perfectly reflects this. The stellar production leaves listeners wanting more. Reminiscent of what country music sounded like back in the day when it could be found on every jukebox across America, “Kristofferson” is as real as it gets.
“Real-life situations are what country music is all about, it’s not always happy and it’s not always sad – that’s real life. Jim Brown reflects, “Kris Kristofferson is always able to capture real life in his music. I hope you enjoy my version of this song and the corresponding music video!”
Randy Shaffer, Vibe Entertainment Group adds, “When Jim and I discussed how we wanted to approach this video, it was important for us to capture the story of the song. It’s told so well lyrically that we wanted the visual to match the essence of the song.”
Brown is already in the studio working on new music to be released later this year. To learn more about Jim Brown, his music, and tour dates, visit his Website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.

ABOUT JIM BROWN:
Raised in Nashville, and owning his first guitar by the tender age of three, Jim Brown first cut his musical teeth at age nineteen at the iconic Nashville Palace. He grew up part of the Music City community and listened to good ole Rock n’ Roll including Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top, Billy Joel, Kiss, Foreigner, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Beatles, James Taylor, Ted Nugent, and Peter Frampton along with the traditional country sounds of Johnny Cash, Keith Whitley, and Waylon Jennings. These early influences combined with the contemporary music of Blake Shelton and Montgomery Gentry have molded the man and the music that you see and hear today.
In recent years, Brown has released numerous self-produced projects garnering the attention of music professionals and fans alike. His music is available through all digital and streaming platforms as well as on his website. Brown made his debut on the stage of the world-famous Grand Ole Opry House with his single “Honky-Tonk Women” in 2018 at a special tribute for Ralph Stanley and has shared the stage with a host of country music’s top-named entertainers including Aaron Tippin, Andy Griggs, Billy Dean, Collin Raye, Darryl Worley, Daryle Singletary, Heidi Newfield, Jamie O’Neal, Joe Diffie, John Conlee, John Schneider, (“Bo Duke” of The Dukes of Hazzard), Justin Moore, Montgomery Gentry, Sammy Kershaw, and Tanya Tucker.
Brown and his band play all over the US – everything from concerts to corporate events, festivals, and fundraisers. The most important thing to him above and beyond his music, however, is family and making a difference in the lives of others. He uses the power of his music to accomplish that and to satisfy both passions. Brown’s life was forever changed while working in Memphis when he had the opportunity to read story books to the children at St. Jude Children’s Hospital. In his own words, “To see what these kids go through and that they can still keep a smile on their face is truly inspiring.” This is why at Jim’s shows you will always see him giving back to a charity or someone in need.
