“his sound owes as much to the memorable hooks and widely relatable stories that drove the pop-rock success of Tom Petty as the twang-fueled and often location-specific songs of Chris LeDoux.” – Bobby Moore / Wide Open Country

“One of the best singer/songwriters working in the music business today” – Matt Bjorke / Roughstock

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Jeremy McComb officially releases his highly anticipated EP, The Way Back, available now via Average Joes Entertainment. The new project arrives featuring previously released singles “Burned Out,” “Back Before I Knew Ya,” and “Every Road” as well as three brand-new tracks. The Way Back deepens McComb’s practice of storytelling through anthemic melodies alongside candid lyrics that reveal his true emotions. Greatly influenced by the recent pandemic, The Way Back serves as a reminder to Jeremy that you must blaze a trail of your own in an industry that is often unforgiving. The Way Back is available now for download and stream on all digital platforms!

“I didn’t realize at the time we were making a nostalgic record, I guess in some ways I always am. I wanted to just connect deeper with my people and get more personal,” shares McComb. “I’ve always wanted to lay out exactly who I was and The Way Back is me, vulnerable, unapologetic, and open. It seems from the early response it’s a bit of all of us.”

In partnership with Apeman Strong, Jeremy is creating a “We Are Underdogs” t-shirt that will be sold with a portion of the proceeds donated to Operation Underground Railroad, an organization that fights to put a stop to child sex trafficking and exploitation. Human trafficking is a large-scale problem that requires large-scale solutions. The O.U.R. Ops Team implements a sustainable, ethical rescue model of direct intervention to bring freedom to victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. O.U.R. Aftercare supports survivors of human trafficking and exploitation in their healing process by meeting their individual needs. The “We Are Underdogs” t-shirts are now on sale and can be purchased HERE.

About Jeremy McComb:
Good things come to those who wait, but luck favors the bold. And for Jeremy McComb, the balance comes naturally. A storyteller epitomizing “been there and done that,” McComb has explored nearly every facet of the entertainment industry, all on his own terms. From radio to tour managing, releasing five albums, growing an international fan base, hitting the Billboard charts, and writing songs for projects selling over 6 Million copies … including a Grammy-nominated soundtrack (Blue Collar Comedy Tour – One for the Road). Proudly and fiercely independent in both spirit and style, The Average Joes Entertainment recording artist was born in Idaho as a sixth-generation musician. Music is in McComb’s DNA but he’s a distinct branch on the family tree. Obsessed with artists who share a gift for storytelling (and little else), he found inspiration in everything from Jim Croce to Tom Petty, and now bridges the canyons between country, rock, and folk.
