Kansas City Outlaws Best Oklahoma Wildcatters and the Missouri Thunder Edge the Arizona Ridge Riders in Monster Energy Team Challenge
MILWAUKEE, Wisc. – With an 89.50-point ride on Ghostship Warrior, Hudson Bolton won the first round of the Busch Light PBR Milwaukee presented by Cooper Tires at Fiserv Forum on Friday night.
Close behind the cowboy from Tennessee in second by nine-tenths of a point was Marco Rizzo, courtesy of an 88.60 point re-ride score on Dirty South. Rizzo remains second in the UTB standings while working his way into Julio Cesar Marques’ 8.5-point advantage.
Bolton, Rizzo and Marques are teammates on the New York Mavericks.
Three-time World Champion Jose Vitor Leme earned his first ride of the season atop Body Bag with the tandem scoring 88.45 points. Leme sat out the season’s first two events and made his 2026 UTB season debut in Boston on Jan 2-3, shut out there and in New York City last weekend.
Kade Madsen, who also made his elite tour season debut in Boston, finished the evening with the fourth-highest score with 88.10 points against Catching Gears to help lift the Missouri Thunder to a narrow victory over the Arizona Ridge Riders 88.10-88.05 in the second Monster Energy Team Challenge Game within tonight’s competition. Arizona’s Keyshawn Whitehorse bested First Class for 88.05 points, falling a mere .05 points short of catching Madsen and the Thunder. Whitehorse, who went 3-for-4 last weekend in New York, holds fifth in the event standings.
Julio Cesar Marques earned an 87.90-point ride on I’ll Make Ya Famous to keep him atop the UTB standings with 250 points. Marques finished second at Madison Square Garden in New York last week, an event won by Sage Kimzey who was bucked off tonight but still sits third in the season standings.
In the first Monster Energy Team Challenge game tonight, the Kansas City Outlaws picked up a win Friday night against the Oklahoma Wildcatters 173.15-83.95 in front of an electric crowd. Alison dos Santos recorded the Outlaws’ first ride for 85.45 points on Love Country, complemented by Koltin Hevalow’s 87.70-pointer on Home Slice, the highest score of the game. Cort McFadden earned the lone ride for the Wildcatters with 83.95 points on Country Club.
The Monster Energy Team Challenge is a tournament-style team competition featuring PBR Teams competing in head-to-head matchups during select Unleash The Beast weekends, The games are broadcast on CBS Television Network.
Championship Saturday in Milwaukee is scheduled to begin 7 p.m. CT Saturday evening and is available to watch in its entirety on Paramount+.
