FLORIDA FREEDOM RUN THE TABLE ON LEAGUE NO. 1 AUSTIN GAMBLERS WITH SECOND PERFECT GAME OF SEASON AND MOVE INTO LEAGUE LEAD TO CLOSE OUT PBR TEAMS: ANAHEIM

With Three Teams at 15-5, Freedom Hold Tiebreaker on Points over Gamblers And Arizona Ridge Riders, who Tie League Record for Rides in an Event Weekend

ANAHEIM, Calif. – In a PBR Teams clash of the league leaders on Sunday afternoon in Anaheim, the No. 2 Florida Freedom made a very loud statement in annihilating the No. 1 Austin Gamblers 434.25 – 0, riding all five of their bulls for the second-highest game point total in PBR Teams history.

The Freedom beat the 2024 league champions Gamblers for the third time this season, recording their second perfect game in 2025, leaving both teams at 15-5 atop the PBR Camping World Team Series Standings.

Thigao Salgado started off the Freedom with 87.5 aboard Triton followed by 83.75 points by João Ricardo Vieira on Money Pit. João Lucas Campos, 87 on Late Night Toss, and Elizmar Jeremias, 87.25 on Ridin’ Dirty, set the stage for John Crimber to finish the 5-for-5 game by scoring a game-high 88.75 points on Mo Money to clinch the perfect game shutout.

The 2024 league MVP then laid down the gauntlet in a live interview on the CW Network.

“I’m not really much of a fan of the Austin Gamblers. They don’t like us too much. You can go ahead and rename that team Florida Gamblers ‘cause we own that team,” Crimber said.

Meantime, the Arizona Ridge Riders (15-5) finished a sizzling weekend in California with three more qualified rides on Sunday to beat the New York 254.5-246.75 to rise to 15-5 on the season as New York fell to 3-17. Everton Natan da Silva bested Flossin for 86 points, followed by an 86.75-point ride by Riquelme Santos shortly after on Brett’s Silver Eagle. The winning ride came down to Luciano De Castro, lasting eight on Electric Kitty for the win.  That score allowed Arizona to tie for the league record for qualified rides in a weekend with 11.

A week ahead of their homestand, the Carolina Cowboys (8-12) carry in momentum, taking their second win of the weekend over the injury-depleted Kansas City Outlaws (8-12) 177-170.25 Sunday afternoon. Two-time World Champion Jess Lockwood recorded Carolina’s first ride of 89 points on top Love County before Clay Guiton bested Black Harbor for 88 points to extend the lead. A late ride by the Outlaws’ Heitor Santos Ferreira on Question This for 84.25 came up just short for Kansas City.

The Missouri Thunder closed out the weekend in a winning way, improving to 9-11 after a 173.25-170.5 outing against the 6-14 Nashville Stampede. Both squads earned two rides with the Thunder’s Paulo Eduardo Rossetto riding Hookie Monster for 85.75 points and Boudreaux Campbel scoring 87.5 on In My Blood. Alan de Souza (83.75) and Gustavo Luiz Da Silva (86.75) collected two rides for the Stampede.

The Texas Rattlers (13-7) had back-to-back rides out of the gate that ultimately downed the Oklahoma Wildcatters (7-13) for the Rattlers’ fifth straight win. The 169.75-0 shutout began with Brady Fielder riding Cutting Edge Sugar Daddy for 83.75 points then Claudio Montanha Jr. tacking on 86 more points against Cracky Chan.

About the PBR Camping World Team Series
The PBR Camping World Team Series is an elite league featuring the world’s top bull riders competing on teams in five-on-five bull riding games during a 13-event season beginning in July and culminating in a Team Championship at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas in October.

During the 2025 season, the league’s fourth, each of the ten teams – Austin Gamblers of Austin, TX; Arizona Ridge Riders of Glendale, AZ; Carolina Cowboys of Greensboro, NC; Florida Freedom of Sunrise, FL; Kansas City Outlaws of Kansas City, MO; Nashville Stampede of Nashville, TN; Oklahoma Wildcatters of Oklahoma City, OK; Missouri Thunder of Springfield, MO; New York Mavericks of Elmont, NY, and Texas Rattlers of Fort Worth, TX – will host a three-day homestand. There are also neutral-site games in Anaheim, CA and Duluth, GA.

PBR Teams, which launched in July 2022, builds on the existing structure of professional bull riding with the same basic rules for judging and scoring qualified 8-second bull rides. Events are staged in head-to-head matchups in a tournament-style format. In five-on-five games, the team with the highest aggregate score of qualified rides among its riders is declared the winner.
