Dove Ties Set To Release New Single "I don't know"

This is one of the first instrumental tracks DOVE TIES finished.
Donna says ” When I first heard the instrumental of this song I really liked the feel of it, very summery. The vocal parts of “and I don’t know, what I’m doing wrong” had already been written by Patrick so I continued that idea and developed the story of the song. I tend to record the vocals and work on the arrangement pretty quickly after the idea is solid and tweak lyrics and melody as I work through the process, after that I send the files and arrangement to
Patrick and He does his thing and embellishes on what is already there”

Patrick says “I had some ideas for how I would like a track to sound so I sat down and recorded some drums and guitars and bass. It had a really cool feel to it but I wasn’t really sure where to take it from there. Donna picked it up and ran with it. It is one of the best things about working with someone else, they hear something in your ideas and can take it somewhere you probably wouldn’t have thought of going to. That is what happened with both Ghost of You and our last previous single “Light it up.”
