DittyTV will debut two breakout musicians at 10 pm CST Sunday, Oct. 9: Los Angeles based Americana singer-songwriter Nathan Jacques’ Dream, Dream Away video from his Live Out West EP and documentary, and Cam Allen’s music video for Lake Days, his latest release with over 350,000 Spotify streams.

“This song is about a love run cold and leaving even though you don’t want to. The turmoil of an ending relationship hurts and sometimes a soft, sad song doesn’t get those feelings out the right way,” explains Jacques about Dream, Dream Away. “In this instance, a boisterous rock song felt like the right vessel. It’s a sad tune but a damn good time to play live.”
“Lake Days is a summer anthem for all those lake weekends – waking up with sunburnt skin and searching for your second wind as you are getting a little tipsy on the water with your family, friends & lake buds. Whether floating or beached in a cove, you’re making memories and singing along to your favorite tunes. That’s what summer is all about,” says Allen. “Your tan gets a little darker, your buzz gets a little stronger, and all of life’s worries go away for a day. You can catch me and the band out on the water for another round all summer long. We’ll be sinking that boat upside down”

About Nathan Jacques
Nathan’s new live, in-studio EP, Live Out West, debuted Sept. 30, featuring 5 songs; 4 originals and 1 cover. Produced by Nathan & Ed Donnelly (Willie Nelson, Zac Brown, Trent Summar and The New Row Mob), the EP is accompanied by a 30+ min, documentary-style, live film of Nathan and his band in the famous EastWest Studios cutting the project.
Nathan debuted his first sneak peek into the project in August with a profile in The Bluegrass Situation of the Marty Robbins signature tune Big Iron. His second preview was on Americana UK highlighting his track Drifting, where the publication praised Nathan for his “ethereal, sliding notes, immediately engaging the listener in a song that is, quite simply, beautiful. This is stuff to get lost in…It’s a great entry-point for the forthcoming live-in-the-studio EP, ‘Live Out West.’” Those debuts were followed by a spotlight on Americana Highways of the video for the track Cherry and Bandit. Americana Highways stated that “Nathan Jacques and the band set up a groove to live by in this production… Jacques easy vocals spin the tale of bank robbers on the lam.” His release week kicked off with a profile on the Digital Journal where Nathan shared the video for the track Young Devil. In the piece, the Digital Journal called Nathan “one of the top rising artists in the LA market.”
