“Kind Heart” is the leadoff single to her forthcoming album Hear Me Out
Country-pop singer-songwriter Demi Michelle is proud to announce the release of her new single “Kind Heart”. “Kind Heart” is the lead single off her highly anticipated upcoming eight-track album Hear Me Out. The song is scheduled to be released on February 29th and will be available for download on all major streaming platforms.
“Kind Heart” is a piano and flute-accented ballad which thoroughly examines the true meaning behind being perceived as a benevolent individual. The catalyst for this reflection centered on Demi’s real-life motivation to show empathy regardless of the eventual outcome or resulting damage. She firmly believes that kindness manifests itself in a multitude of ways and that a silent outward expression may conceal an authentic inward intention.
Demi reflects on how the desire for good often weights on her conscious through the song’s poignant chorus, “If it’s true that kindness doesn’t cost a thing, then why do I feel like I’ve spent everything?/They say being nice goes a long way, but a thousand miles wouldn’t change how it’s kinda hard having a kind heart.”
“Kind Heart” is the result of Demi emerging with a newly realized confidence to immerse herself among unexplored lyrical content. In addition, the song is the follow-up to her successful 2023, which included winning USA Female Album of the Year (Bronze) at the 2023 ISSA Awards for It Is What It Is, earning a feature in her local newspaper, and being honored with a placement on her middle school’s Wall of Fame. Listeners can prepare themselves for two additional single releases, “Passive Aggressive” and “I’m Introverted, So What?”, before her album is distributed.
