NASHVILLE, TN (March 27, 2024) ­– Blossoming country pop singer-songwriter and Portland, TN native, Mattie Taylor, has joined PLA Media’s esteemed roster. 

Among her recent accomplishments, Mattie has shared the stage with Grammy-award-winning country singer, Linda Davis, a testament to her artistry and captivating stage presence. Additionally, her performances at events such as the CMA Fest and Tennessee Songwriter’s Week have further solidified her reputation as a rising star in the country music scene.

About Mattie Taylor

Mattie Taylor is a rising country pop singer-songwriter from Portland, TN. Starting this journey with vocal competitions and vocal lessons with author/vocal coach Renee Grant Williams (Faith HillTim McGrawChristina Aguilera, Linda RonstadtCarrie Underwood and Miley Cyrus), Taylor works toward her heartset passion. Her proximity to Music City opened Taylor to opportunities, such as meeting and working with other artists and songwriters. Taylor took a leap of faith and began performing at festivals, pubs, and farmer’s markets. 


Further training with Linda Davis, recording and releasing original music, performing at the Portland historical Temple Theatre, and being led to sharing the stage with bluegrass queen Rhonda Vincent. Through her songwriting and artistry, Taylor plans to continue sharing her heart in songs whether it be in the writing and recording studio, on the internet, or at live shows.
