(Nashville, Tenn.– Feb. 15, 2023) Country artist Chase Mitchell has partnered with Deep South Spirit to create The CheerTour 2023. Mitchell joins cheer squads this year from all over the U.S. for six dates in arenas across the South. The CheerTour 2023 will take Mitchell and his band to Mississippi, Georgia, Florida, and Alabama. Tickets are available the Monday before each show here.
Mitchell is no stranger to the cheer scene as he grew up around cheer competitions as a child, even being discovered by Maurice Star (New Kids on the Block) in a cheer gym. His career has come full circle with him sharing his talents as he inspires and uplifts cheerleaders and families along this tour.
Vice President of Events for Deep South Spirit, Christina Schuster, elaborates on her excitement for the tour, “We are incredibly excited to partner with Chase, who not only brings value to our events but elevates the event experience for everyone in attendance! Chase brings energy, captivates the crowd, and can connect with the athletes on a personal level by chasing his purpose. We look forward to the season and what we have in store for these athletes and families!”

About Chase Mitchell:
Mitchell was discovered by Maurice Starr (New Kids on the Block) and signed his first record deal at nine years old. He started performing as a part of the boyband, Lucky, alongside Tim Brantley and Justin Guzman. The trio toured the country, opening for well-known groups such as OutKast, Destiny’s Child, and more, in addition to being a regular act on Radio Disney. After the band split, Mitchell signed with Buddy Lee Attractions and spent his teen years on the road, opening for future stars such as Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, Rascal Flatts, and more.
At 20, he stepped back from the industry to start his family but has since realized his purpose is music, and he is now back to debut his first full album, Chase Your Purpose, in 2023. The first single from that album, “Back Road,” had a music video initially premiere on People.com and is now being recognized on TCN, Taste of Country’s Fan-Voted Top 10 Video Charts at #2 two weeks in a row, and was a fan-favorite on CMT’s Music 12 Pack Countdown, finding its place in the Top 5 Videos for 6-weeks straight. Fans can continue to vote for “Back Road” on the Taste of Country charts here.
