Arizona Ridge Riders Win Seventh Straight, Sweeping Freedom Days to Hold Top Position in the 2025 PBR Camping World Team Series

Richard Childress Racing-owned Carolina Cowboys to host 2023 homestand September 22-24

SUNRISE, Fla. – The Arizona Ridge Riders extended their lead in the 2025 PBR Camping World Team Series with the team’s seventh-consecutive victory of the season, beating the Carolina Cowboys to close out a sweep of Freedom Days at Amerant Bank Arena Sunday afternoon.

Arizona improved its record to 7-1 via the 247.75-174.50 victory over the Cowboys who fell to 4-4 after a late comeback fell short. Arizona took the lead with back-to-back rides by Everton Natan da Silva and Eduardo Aparecido. The former’s qualified ride marked his fifth straight in Teams events. Luciano De Castro rode Always Been Crazy to clinch the game for the Ridge Riders.

In the opener to close out the Florida Freedom’s three-day homestand, the Austin Gamblers overcame the Nashville Stampede 173.25-86.75 to rise to 5-3 as the Stampede moved to 2-6 on the season. Sage Steele Kimzey began the game by conquering Let Him Fly followed by a ride by Lucas Divino in the second on Red Hot. Cody Jesus’ bottom of the second ride atop Rowdy wasn’t enough for the Stampede.

The Missouri Thunder (4-4) and Oklahoma Wildcatters (1-7) fought tooth and nail for every point, and with the Thunder knocking down rides in the final two frames, the Wildcatters lost another close game, 178-169.75. Jett Harkins earned his second consecutive ride to kickstart his Teams career with Miguel de Jesus closing out the matchup for the Thunder.

The Texas Rattlers bounced back from Saturday night’s loss with a 176.25-87.25 win over the New York Mavericks. The Rattlers rise to a 6-2 record as the Mavericks drop to 1-7. Both squads notched qualified rides in the first frame with Daniel Keeping’s 86-point ride atop Gunsmoke being the difference maker in the end.

Finishing strong at their homestand, the Florida Freedom was one bull better than the Kansas City Outlaws 175.5-86.5. Thiago Salgado opened the game with an 88 point score, lifting him to first place in the MVP standings with a season total of 518.75. John Crimber, the league’s 2024 MVP, put a bow on the “W” with and 87.5-point ride.

About the PBR Camping World Team Series

The PBR Camping World Team Series is an elite league featuring the world’s top bull riders competing on teams in five-on-five bull riding games during a 13-event season beginning in July and culminating in a Team Championship at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas in October. During the 2025 season, the league’s fourth, each of the tens teams – Austin Gamblers of Austin, TX; Arizona Ridge Riders of Glendale, AZ; Carolina Cowboys of Greensboro, NC; Florida Freedom of Sunrise, FL; Kansas City Outlaws of Kansas City, MO; Nashville Stampede of Nashville, TN; Oklahoma Wildcatters of Oklahoma City, OK; Missouri Thunder of Springfield, MO; New York Mavericks of Elmont, NY, and Texas Rattlers of Fort Worth, TX – will host a three-day homestand. There are also neutral-site games in Anaheim, CA and Duluth, GA.

PBR Teams, which launched in July 2022, builds on the existing structure of professional bull riding with the same basic rules for judging and scoring qualified 8-second bull rides. Events are staged in head-to-head matchups in a tournament-style format. In five-on-five games, the team with the highest aggregate score of qualified rides among its riders is declared the winner.
