Acclaimed Blues/Rock artist Albert Cummings is set to embark on an electrifying UK tour this October in support of his chart-topping album, Strong. Please see full tour details below.
Known for his passionate performances and powerful guitar work, Cummings brings his unique blend of blues and rock to audiences across the UK.
Following the success of Strong, which recently reached #1 on the blues charts, Cummings is excited to connect with his fans overseas. The album features a collection of original tracks that showcase his songwriting prowess and exceptional guitar skills, promising an unforgettable live experience.
Raised in Massachusetts and self-taught on the banjo, it was a 1987 concert by Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble that exposed Cummings to the world of modern blues he has since become a key player in. His first album, From The Heart (2003) was produced by Double Trouble’s Chris Layton and Tommy Shannon, featuring the group’s Reese Wynans on keyboard. From that first release, the burgeoning blue world of the 2000s opened its doors for Abert Cummings. He recorded several albums for Blind Pig Records, and on 2012’s No Regrets the guitarist expanded his repertoire to incorporate country and rock influences that culminated in his 2022 record Ten, released on his own indie label imprint, Ivy Music Company, and featured Vince Gill on its lead single ‘Last Call’.
