FORT WORTH, Texas (June 24, 2024) – The PBR (Professional Bull Riders) World Finals: Unleash The Beast will return to Texas in 2025, launching with Eliminations and Ride For Redemption in Fort Worth at the iconic Cowtown Coliseum on May 8-11 and May 14-15, respectively.

The PBR World Finals, bull riding’s crown jewel, were reimagined in 2024, debuting an exciting new three-stage format, making the battle for the World Championship, coveted gold buckle and accompanying $1 million bonus more dramatic and competitive than ever.

Eliminations and Ride For Redemption are the crucial initial phases in any rider’s quest to be crowned a World Champion. Together they determine the 25-rider field that will compete at the PBR World Finals – Championship, scheduled for May 17-18 at AT&T Stadium in nearby Arlington, which will ultimately determine the season’s World Champion.

Tickets for the 2025 PBR World Finals: Unleash The Beast – Eliminations and Ride For Redemption at Cowtown Coliseum, the birthplace of PBR, are on sale now, starting at $99, taxes and fees not included. Tickets can be purchased at the Cowtown Coliseum Box Office, online at PBRWorldFinals.com and AXS.com or by phone at 1-800-732-1727.

The on-the-dirt action for the two segments of the 2025 PBR World Finals inside Cowtown Coliseum will be accompanied by a myriad of can’t-miss programming throughout the Fort Worth Stockyards, including the Stockyards Stampede.

In 2024, Eliminations proved crucial to the World Championship campaign for Cassio Dias (Sao F. de Sales, Brazil). While injury prevented Dias from competing in the entirety of Eliminations, his 2-for-3 showing led him to conclude the opening phase of his debut World Finals third, garnering a crucial 180 points. When the dust settled, Dias outlasted a hard-charging John Crimber (Decatur, Texas) by a mere 238.5 points to win the World Championship.

Crimber also delivered a memorable outing inside Cowtown Coliseum for Eliminations. Despite bucking off his first two bovine athlete opponents, he topped the leaderboard in both Round 3 and Round 4 to finish Eliminations second overall.

Kaiden Loud was the undeniable star of the inaugural Eliminations, winning the phase by going 3-for-4, while also delivering the first 90-point ride of the 2024 World Finals.  The victory was crucial in Loud finishing a career-best No. 6 in the standings.

The Eliminations format also proved crucial for the likes of seven-time PRCA champion Sage Kimzey (Strong City, Oklahoma) and three-time PBR World Champion Silvano Alves (Pilar do Sul, Brazil), as the duo delivered Top 15-finishes to advance via the five coveted aggregate berths.

Making the most of the opportunity to remain in competition when the World Finals continued inside AT&T Stadium, Kimzey went on to win the PBR World Finals – Championship, while Alves finished sixth in what he announced was his final individual event.

During Ride For Redemption, Texas own Daniel Keeping (Montague, Texas) rode supreme, parlaying his success in the ride-in-round into a berth to the PBR World Finals – Championship. He was joined by Bob Mitchell (Steelville, Missouri), Mauricio Moriera (Gaviao Peixoto, Brazil), JaCauy Hale (Ganado, Arizona) and Shane Scott (Molalla, Oregon) who also earned the rarely seen in sports opportunity to re-enter the Championship competition.

The 2025 PBR World Finals will begin with Eliminations at Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth from May 8-11. During Eliminations, each of the 45 competing riders will get on one bull daily. When the dust settles, the Top 15 in the Unleash The Beast standings, and Top 5 in the event not already advancing, will earn a direct berth to the Championship in Arlington the following weekend.

The 25 riders who do not advance will look to Ride For Redemption on May 14-15 to keep their title hopes alive. Those contenders will be joined by 15 riders from a to-be-announced selection process. During Ride For Redemption, each rider will attempt one bull. At the conclusion of the ride-in rounds the Top 5 in the event will earn the final berths to The Championship.

Single-day tickets for both Eliminations and Ride For Redemption are on-sale now and can be purchased at the Cowtown Coliseum Box Office, online at PBRWorldFinals.com and AXS.com or by phone at 1-800-732-1727.

The 2025 PBR World Finals will conclude with the Championship May 17-18.  Visit PBRWorldFinals.com for more information on tickets.
