Chris Andreucci’s artistry began in Scotland but since relocating to Nashville, he has built an impressive reputation in town. Chris currently splits his time writing songs with Nashville’s top songwriters and performing professionally to build on his already rapidly growing fanbase.
“To the Moon and Back” was written by Chris and Kylie Hughes and recorded at Funk Studios with the legendary producer Michael Funk.
Chris shared the inspiration of “To the Moon and Back” as “people come and go in your life, relations end and love can rekindle. Kylie and I wanted to encapsulate this in a song. ‘To the Moon and Back’ is about a relationship where they can’t seem to get it right, so the girl keeps leaving. But they love each other, can’t seem to let go, so they [keep] getting back together.”
Chris adds “through the whole experience the boy loves the girl unconditionally, even when she’s not with him and he doesn’t know where she is or when she’ll come back. As songwriters, this is something that Kylie and I have both experienced and we hope that you can relate to the song.”
