PUEBLO, Colo. (March 4, 2024) – Following expansion from 8 to 10 teams ahead of the league’s third season, the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Camping World Team Series’ 2024 event schedule was announced today.

Beginning in July, a longer 12-event regular-season will conclude with an expanded, and reformatted four-day, progressive elimination Championship tournament in Las Vegas.

Two teams will now need to ride their way into the title-deciding PBR Teams Championship at T-Mobile Arena from October 18-20 and two will go home when the four lowest-ranked teams (No. 7 to No. 10) face off at South Point Hotel & Casino in the one-day Ride-In Round on October 17.

During the regular season, each of the PBR Camping World Team Series’ 10 teams will host a homestand, while the league will host two neutral site events. Collectively, during the 35-day regular season, each team will play 28 regular-season games and have seven byes.

The season will get underway on July 12-14 in Oklahoma City with the expansion Oklahoma Wildcatters inaugural homestand when the roster led by Head Coach and two-time PBR World Champion J.B. Mauney will compete for the first time inside Paycom Center, home of the NBA Oklahoma Thunder.

After a one-week break, PBR Teams will debut in Duluth, Georgia, for the first neutral site event of the year on July 26-28 at Gas South Arena.

The relocated Florida Freedom, now led by 10-time PBR World Finals qualifier and Head Coach Paulo Crimber, will then welcome the league to Sunrise, Florida, when they make their debut inside Amerant Bank Arena, home of the NHL’s Florida Panthers, on Aug. 2-4.

The string of first-time events will continue Aug. 9-10 when the New York Mavericks storm into Brooklyn, New York for the first time under the leadership of 2009 PBR World Champion and Head Coach Kody Lostroh, and 2002 World Champion and Assistant Coach Ednei Caminhas. Their inaugural homestand will take over the renowned Barclays Center, home of the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets, on Aug. 9-10.

August will continue with a duo of established events hosted by championship winning rosters.

On Aug. 16-18 the first-ever PBR Teams Champion Nashville Stampede will host Stampede Days at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, home of the NHL’s Nashville Predators. The two-time and reigning regular season champion Austin Gamblers will welcome the league to Austin, Texas, for Gambler Days at the Moody Center on Aug. 23-25.

August’s events will conclude on Aug. 30-Sept. 1 when the Missouri Thunder compete for the first time at Great Southern Bank Arena in Springfield, Missouri.

The Kansas City Outlaws will return to T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri, on Sept. 6-8, followed by the second neutral site event of the year in Anaheim, California, at the Honda Center, home of the NHL’s Anaheim Ducks, on Sept. 13-15.

Following the Carolina Cowboys’ homestand in Greensboro, North Carolina, at Greensboro Coliseum on Sept. 20-22, the defending PBR Teams Champion Texas Rattlers will celebrate their homecoming on Sept. 26-28. Rattler Days will begin at Cowtown Coliseum on Sept. 26 and conclude inside Dickies Arena on Sept. 27-28.

The Texas Rattlers are the lone team in the league to be a perfect 6-0 inside their home venue since the league was formed.

The 2024 PBR Camping World Team Series regular season will conclude on Oct. 4-6 when the Arizona Ridge Riders welcome the league’s 10 teams to Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona.

About the PBR Camping World Team Series:

The PBR Camping World Team Series is an elite league featuring the world’s top bull riders competing on teams in five-on-five games leading to a Team Championship at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. During the 2024 season, the league’s third, each of the 10 teams – Austin Gamblers of Austin, TX; Arizona Ridge Riders of Glendale, AZ; Carolina Cowboys of Greensboro, NC; Florida Freedom of Sunrise, FL; Kansas City Outlaws of Kansas City, MO; Nashville Stampede of Nashville, TN; New York Mavericks of Brooklyn, NY; OK; Oklahoma Freedom of Oklahoma City, OK; Missouri Thunder of Ridgedale, MO; and Texas Rattlers of Fort Worth, TX– will host a homestand. Neutral-site games to be announced are planned as well.

PBR Teams, launched in July 2022, builds on the existing structure of professional bull riding with the same basic rules for judging and scoring qualified 8-second bull rides. In events staged in a tournament-style format, all teams compete in head-to-head matchups against a different opponent each day. Each game features five riders per team squaring off against another team. Full team rosters are comprised of seven riders on the Protected Roster and five Reserve riders. The team with the highest aggregate score of qualified rides among its riders is declared the winner of each game. All PBR Teams events are carried on either the CBS Television Network, streaming live on Paramount+, CBS Sports Network, or RidePass on Pluto TV.
